Being very new at the capsule thing I find it very exiting to create my own autumn capsule. I am far from professional in this, and I could have waited until the more professional capsulers like Leanne in Classy yet trendy or Jennifer in Mapp Craft Tiny Closet comes out with their autumn capsules e-books. But why make it easy?? Since I live in Norway we also have a little different approach to fashion here and the clothes that are mentioned in the e-books might not be able to get her without spending a fortune in freight and costumes fee. My goal was to get under 50 pieces including shoes, bags and scarves and so far I've ended up on 47 items. I've created 33 outfits in Stylebook and am sure I can create at least 100 if I sit down and take my time.
So
how to begin?? I strongly recommend you to read this post in Classy yet trendy the 5 steps are really great and for me step 1 choosing one base color was life changing. I chose navy for spring and summer and decided to pack away the black for my autumn/winter caspsules. Now I gone through all and it feels like I've got a lot of new clothes. If you don't like black or navy you can for example use dark brown or olive as your base color.
Here's my 47 items for this autumn, something new, something not purchased yet, but most of it I already had. Shop your closet, see what you already have so you don't end up buying a lot of stuff you already have.

And here's the outfits I've been playing around with in the Stylebook app
I still use the clothes from my summer capsule, but I'm prepared for autumn, the past few days I've combined summer and autumn clothes. Today for instance I took the striped summer dress and combined it with the olive green coat.
Until next time
